Limited One Year Warranty

St. Paul Opticians makes the following Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty extends only to the original consumer of Prescription Eyeglasses and to no other purchasers or transferees.

St. Paul Opticians warrants that for a period of one year from the date of delivery to you, your prescription eyeglasses, including frames and lenses, will be free from defects in materials or workmanship. We warrant that the lenses will be prepared consistently with the prescription provided by the purchaser. During this period, if the lenses or frames are defective, we will, without charge to you, at our option, repair the eyeglasses, or replace the eyeglasses with substantially equal eyeglasses, or refund the purchase price if requested within 60 days of delivery. This warranty does not include damage caused by impact, or theft, or accidental damage of the eyeglasses. This warranty does not include coverage for scratched lenses. You must return the eyeglasses to the place where they were purchased.

Limits On Our Liability

The term of any warranty, including any implied warranty of fitness is limited to one year.

Our entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this warranty will be, at our option, to use reasonable efforts to repair the eyeglasses, or replace the eyeglasses with substantially equal eyeglasses, or refund the purchase price. In no event will we be liable for any special, consequential or incidental damages from the use of the eyeglasses, however caused or on any theory of liability including but not limited to damages for eye injury or other personal injury, or property damages, or loss of income, or expenses. In no event will we be liable for any expense you incur to purchase replacement eyeglasses or services from another vendor. In no event will we be liable for defects that are caused by misuse or mishandling the eyeglasses including improper use, care and cleaning, or damages caused by object impact.

Your Responsibilities

The above warranty is subject to the following conditions:

1. Within 30 days after you discover the defect and during the term of this warranty, you must return the eyeglasses to the St. Paul Opticians store where originally purchased.
2. This warranty is effective only if you purchased the eyeglasses from St. Paul Opticians and we have a record of your purchase or have the original invoice.
3. The warranty does not apply if the eyeglasses are misused, or improperly cared for, or accidentally damaged, or lost.
